Long Time No See

Well well well....it took me long enough to post a new entry. I was away on "vacation" - I put that in quotes b/c I was up back in NYC staying at my parent's house so how much of a vacation is that really? I didn't get to post anything while there b/c their computer and internet connection are the slowest things possible.

I got back on Sat. night and I'm just kinda numb - don't really know why. I guess it could be the shock that spending a month at my parent's house didn't result in them ending up in body bags.

I still haven't unpacked. I have to reorganize my whole house so unpacking will just add to the confusion. I'll just continue to live out of suitcases.

It was weird stepping back into my apt. because after being away from it for a month it didn't smell like my apt. You know, every place has a distinct smell to it. It had this kind of generic smell not recognizable to me. I guess it smells like home again but I"m not really sure. It could be that nothing feels like home to me because I know in a few months I'll end up having to move to somewhere else for law school. It would be nice to be able to feel like some place is home again.
